Cookie Policy

Lizrd, Inc. uses cookies sparingly. We set only strictly-necessary, first-party cookies to sign you in and secure that sign-in — we use no advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies, and our website analytics are cookieless. Because of this, no cookie consent banner is required to use Lizrd.

Cookies we set

Both are first-party (set by Lizrd), httpOnly (not readable by JavaScript), sent only to our authentication endpoints, and marked Secure in production.

Analytics — no cookies

We measure aggregate website usage with Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies or collect personal data. It never tracks you across sites.

Browser storage (not cookies)

The app remembers your light/dark theme in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie), and keeps your access token in memory only. Clearing your browser data resets these.

Third-party cookies during certain flows

Some actions hand you off to a third party, which may set its own cookies on its own domain, governed by its policy — not ours:

◆ Stripe — when you add a payment method (secure card capture).
◆ Google, GitHub, GitLab — when you sign in or connect them.
◆ Cloudflare Turnstile — a bot check on public sandbox sign-up.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that blocking the strictly-necessary cookies above will prevent you from signing in and using the app. Since we set no tracking cookies, there is nothing else to opt out of.
